New World Oil in Oklahoma
Former CEO and current oil and gas management professional William Kelleher joined West Energy Capital in 2017 and serves as its senior vice president. Before accepting this position, William Kelleher was the CEO of New World Oil and Gas (NWOG), where he managed prospect and drilling operations for the company’s reserves in South America and Europe.
Historically, exploration company New World Oil Ltd. focused on identifying drilling prospects in Belize and Denmark.
Mr Kelleher has global experience along with strong technical expertise along with a General Management/P&L perspective in evaluating, designing, planning, constructing, completing and maintaining gas/oil wells including understanding of multiple geologic basins (onshore and deepwater), reservoir development, conceptual planning through delivery, efficient and profitable production, regulatory compliance, shared ownership relationships, public relations and front end investments in technology.
Extensive global market intelligence gained by leading in differing environmental, political, cultural and geologic areas across the global upstream business including in North America (GOM, Offshore California and the Cook Inlet Alaska), Southeast Asia, North Africa, Middle East, West Africa, Kazakhstan, Russia, Central America and Europe.
Strategic leader assigned to the most difficult challenges in business development, asset acquisition and development, drilling, completion, stimulation and production operations. Ability to advance change by setting clear strategy, building relationships, fostering teamwork, executing plans and rigorously performance managing progress. Capable of managing a multiple projects and developing an operational plan and executing same. Exceptionally strong oral and written skills. Competent presenter. Excellent working with people, training and motivating teams. Have been part of three IPO’s on London Stock Exchange placing over $400 million in combined equity and generated over $1 billion in combined market cap. Perfect HSE record.
